Moments
When you look back at your life what are going to be the things that stand out to you the most? Is it going to be the moment when you got that "perfect job", or when you got your "perfect car"? Or are you going to remember those moments that really matter? Like having deep intimate conversations with those you love? When it comes right down to it, people don't want to live like Jesus because he was a great public speaker. They don't want to be just like him because of his awesome job. When people look at his life the things that stand out the most are the moments when he loved a prostitute just the way that she was. It's things like that that made Jesus who he was, and I hope that when I'm gone, people look at my life and remember me for who I was, not how much money I had or what kind of house I lived in.

Crazy Things
Today as I was driving to work it all of a sudden hit me that I'm actually turning into an "adult". This seems a little out of place since just yesterday I was getting yelled at for not doing my chores right but oh well. I think this feeling of "adultness" came because I found out yesterday that two friends of mine are now engaged. It's very exciting but kinda shocked me because it doesn't seem possible yet. I mean it seems like just yesterday we were all giggling about who liked who, then next thing you know people are getting married. I'm not really sure why this made me feel all "old", apparently working a full time job and getting a new car didn't make me feel like an adult. But having friends on the threshold of marriage sure did!
